Sales Director - Southern Europe
Our client is looking for an experienced sales lead to position and sell NFV probe-based service assurance solution. The individual will be engaged in very strategic direct and indirect sales and must be based in Europe (ideally Madrid or Lisbon).
Responsibilities
- Be part of the EMEA sales team. Report to regional VP.
- Take responsibility for developing business and selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Mobile, Fixed and NGN Providers.
- Exceed annual sales target and meet the pipeline requirements through identification and qualification of prospects and leads generation.
- Develop sales strategies, tactics, and techniques adequate to the Region’s market environment and practices.
- Establish a strong market presence within the assigned territory and the strategic, respective, global accounts (Telefonica, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange)
- Devise and implement quarterly and annual sales plans.
- Develop, manage, and nurture new business partnerships to accomplish revenue and profit objectives.
- Be a self-starter and have experience in developing business strategies with channel partners and/or local agents.
Requirements
- 8-10 years’ experience working as a senior Sales Manager in Europe in the OSS domain.
- Proven success in selling complex telecom systems (mainly software products) to Tier 1-2, Mobile, Fixed Telephony and NGN Providers.
- High-level understanding of data network infrastructure and Network-Function-Virtualization (NFV-technology)
- Strong technical understanding of customers telecommunications Hardware infrastructure
- C-Level-Management technical and business contacts to present the company’s solutions on a deep strategical company view
- BSc / BA in CS, EE, Telecommunications from a known university.
- Fluent ENGLISH is a MUST. Proficiency in other European languages a strong advantage.
- Willing to travel for business purposes, as necessary.
- Experience gained in a multinational organization is a plus.
- Homebased in Europe.

Notes:
Understanding NFV/Mobile Data Monitoring/CEM and customers’ needs would be ideal.
However, in essence, the client is looking for a strong software salesperson with a good track record of new logo business with service providers (OSS, BSS, Analytics etc).
