Finance Manager
Job Purpose:
To manage all aspects related to financial reporting and accounting activities including general ledger preparation, audit, budget and
forecasting activities. Responsible for ensuring that all financial reports and preparation thereof are done in a timely and accurate
manner.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the overall daily finance operations, making sure that transactions are analyzed, and that policies and internal
controls are in place and strictly implemented.
2. Reviews process workflow to develop more effective and efficient procedures utilizing Company resources while
maintaining high level of accuracy.
3. Responsible for month-end closing activities, timely preparation of financial statements/reports and submission to
internal/external customers monthly, quarterly, and annually.
4. Reports to management on the actual financial performance with variance analysis vs Budget and LYs.
5. Leads budget preparation and consolidation in coordination with all department units and performs forecasting, as required
and/or necessary.
6. Ensures overall compliance with BIR and SEC and support/provide other government requirements necessary to the business.
7. Handles annual financial and tax audits and assessments if any.
8. Supports in cost reviews for proper pricing strategy.
9. Ensures departmental KPIs are met aligned with the controllership team and Company.
10. Conducts periodic reviews of the staff’s performance and identifies areas for improvement through proper trainings and
career-path planning.
11. Other ad hoc required by management and head office - CLC Finance.
