Busines Unit Director - Pharma Raw Materials
Multinational group with international presence in the field of Life and Material Science raw material distribution and services is looking for a Business Unit Director to be responsible for the Pharmaceutical sector in the Iberia region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and oversee the Pharma department, providing strategic direction and driving operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and partners, facilitating a reliable and collaborative network to generate growth
- Identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships and exploring potential market for expansion
- Lead, involve and collaborate with talented team member within the Pharma department, fostering a culture of team work, creativity and mutual support
- Manage and mentor team members, empowering them to reach their full potential and excel in their respective roles
- Collaborate with Senior Pharma experts in the company.
Required profile:
- Significant experience working within the B2B pharmaceutical industry (Excipients, Medical Device, Nutraceuticals, API’s), preferable in roles involving sales, business development, distribution. Familiarity with the industry’s unique challenges, regulations and trends is crucial.
- Proven experience in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion initiatives
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams in a managerial or leadership capacity. Experience in managing and mentoring a diverse group of professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
