Local Unit & Position Description

GPM&S (GreenPowerMonitoring & Solutions) is looking for a talented and proactive person who will join our team in Barcelona as a Senior Software Engineer to help us evolve our products, powered by a microservice architecture using. NET, Kubernetes and a hybrid cloud approach.

The position is a part of the Software Development Team.

To get your attention let us share some of the projects we are working now

• Core metadata service (. NET 5, MongoDB, CQRS, mediator, REST+gRPC);
• Observability to be used across our products (OpenTelemetry, ELK stack);
• GPM vNext infrastructure architecture using containerized services using Kubernetes and hybrid cloud.

Your day to day will include

• Collaborate with the team on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion;
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology;
• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards right across the product;
• Expose and discuss about technology with other developers across DNV.

Position Qualifications

To qualify, we need you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience with. NET tech stack;
• Experience with microservices architecture and awareness of its caveats;
• Experience with agile development practices, including unit testing and continuous integration;
• Excellent communications skills (written & verbal) in English.

Below elements, although not required, will be considered a plus:

• Good communication skills in Spanish;
• Experience with Cloud services and platforms.
