RGM Pricing Manager
What makes this a great opportunity? Price is one of the main communications of a brands quality; therefore, we must ensure our brands are positioned correctly. This role is pivotal in aligning our brands to their recommended shelf price positioning on headline & promotional prices as well as time on promotion. Thus, ensuring we are generating the correct rate per case & price perception of the brand. The role will work closely with business unit leads to align towards net price harmonization. The role will be responsible for coordinating feedback on PVM and developing a meaningful regional overview. Ensuring PVM actions are taken and issues addressed Following up on a quarterly basis on the globally created price reports with actions for each business unit The role will be actively involved in the growth planning and handshake sessions to ensure alignment to outputs and future strat plan targets. Develop the regional strat plan price presentation including developing global guidance into regional. Coordinate the communication of strat plan targets feeding back risks and opportunities into the global pricing team Collate feedback and insights on competitor shelf price moves. Reviewing quarterly Nielsen shelf price insights and developing a regional price change overview Communicate innovation price guidance and regional category hurdles Role Responsibilities Ensuring a consistent/harmonized pricing strategy across all business units and channels to mitigate conflict and margin risk. Set Internal triple Net targets for non-priority markets Convert global price positioning guidance into regional guidance Coordinate and understand actions in place and future requirements from PVM & quarterly price reports Propose price change ideas for brands and markets ensuring alignment across regions and marketing, highlighting risks and opportunities. Work with finance, commercial teams, marketing & markets to align prices to regional guidelines Act as a key commercial contact for the sales & marketing teams, assisting in increasing financial & price awareness and communication Review & evaluate current headline & promotional price insight to ensure we are maximizing value versus competitors. Monitor tactical pricing on own & competitors and follow up with actions. Analyze competitor pricing trends & develop insights to support decision making & change. Monitor foreign exchange movements to identify pricing risks Follow up on regional suspect stock issues in alignment with the market or business unit Qualifications & Experience University degree- BS/BA or equivalent Stong experience as a Pricing Manager, Senior Pricing Analyst or Commercial Finance role in a FMCG environment Strong Power point Presentation experience (including preparation and delivery) Proficiency with Windows and MS Office including advanced knowledge of Excel Strong language skills fluent in written & spoken English.
