Chemours is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our Global Procurement team!The position will report directly into the Procurement Excellence team and work closely with the Procurement and Source to Pay teams to accelerate and expand value delivery by building the Procurement functions capabilities, providing market intelligence and analytics, and application of Agile to a portfolio of Procurement initiatives. The Chemours Procurement function is made up of over 100 employees responsible for $3. 5B+ in spend in all categories including services, raw materials, MRO, real estate, transportation, and Capital. The responsibilities of the position will include some or all of the following responsibilities based on demand across a portfolio of procurement initiatives. Market Intelligence and AnalyticsParticipates on category teams to support gathering and analyzing market intelligence, perfoming analytics and building models to support category strategy, contract/sourcing strategy and other procurement initiativesTranslates data into executable and effective market and intelligence reports for use in internal strategies and presentations and proactively makes recommendations concerning key intelligence items that require further considerationDevelops and maintains relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challengesWorks with internal customers to enhance their use of strategic analysis and market intelligence and ensures intelligence is shared with appropriate groups and individuals Agile Scum Master and Execution:Guides and coaches Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality solutions to our internal stakeholders and influence and drive decision making to improve team performance. Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and methods facilitating and supporting Agile ceremoniesCoaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, and team ownership mindset.communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum teamContributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization by collaborating with other agile coaches both internal and external to the transformation officeFacilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective Procurement CapabilitiesSupport the creation and implementation of capabilities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Procurement function through training, development programs, process frameworks/methodology and tools/technologyThe following is required for this role:Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of professional experienceVersatility and ability to learn new domains quickly to add valueAbility to quickly build trust and credibility with stakeholdersWorking knowledge of the Procurement domain and leading practicesWorking knowledge of Agile methodology such as refinement, story definition, estimation, tracking team efficiency, retrospection, and other Scrum techniquesProficient with analytical tools and methods such as PowerBI or similarSelf-motivated, self-starter individual that exhibits leadership qualitiesOutstanding communication, facilitation, problem solving and coaching skillsIntermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, TeamsThe following is preferred for this role:Experience working in global, virtual teams in particular virtual agile teamsExperience as a procurement category manager or buyerIntermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, and other Agile management toolExperience with agile execution within a manufacturing or service industryScrum Master CertificationBenefits:Competitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits PackagesEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramLearning and Development OpportunitiesStrong Inclusion and Diversity InitiativesCompany-paid Volunteer DaysWE’RE CHEMOURS.
