Scope:- implements the Education and Training strategy to ensure physicians and health care professionals are competent in using the Medtronic products safely, effectively, and efficiently. - plans, manages, and executes internal, customer and business partner educational programs to support Operational Unit (OU) strategies across the Western European & EMEA region. - leverages the country/regional T&E field forces to ensure a proper execution of the educational strategy for the WE&EMEA region. - knows important aspects of the procedural training pathway and finds simple and creative ways in implementing them into current programs. - Strives for a specified learning outcome based on educational needs, as opposed to a teacher-centered training model Responsibilities (may include the following and other duties around these):- Plans, develops, coordinates, executes and documents step-by-step SHQ procedural training for Medtronic personnel, as well as healthcare professionals. - Researches, evaluates, plans and implements innovative educational approaches and tools for delivering effective therapy & procedure training programs, in cooperation with the course managers. - Maintains training and simulation equipment, as well as user guides, up to date; resolves technical issues timely, documents and keeps records of training processes and equipment operation. - Manages inventory of equipment and disposables for procedural training delivery. - Trains internal and external stakeholders on the use of simulation equipment for training delivery; monitors compliance with standard operating procedures; promotes and ensures consistency of instruction. - Cooperates with global procedural training peers on education strategies and training methods. - Strives for simple, reproducible, and cost-effective training solutions based on specified training needs. - Revises lesson plans on a regular basis, partners with colleagues and relevant stakeholders to set and meet measurable learning outcomes. - Evaluates and monitors new and existing training materials and instruction based on technical/clinical needs and compliance regulations. - Acts as the Western European regional lead for procedural training delivery. Main requirements:- Minimum 5 years of Cath-lab support experience in cardiac device implantation. - University Degree is required. - Degree in education or previous experience in education role preferred. - Fluent level of English.
