Role Overview: As a PR & Communications Coordinator, you will be a vital contributor to our continued success and advancement. Your expertise and passion will play a key role in shaping the future of our Marketing Department and driving it to new heights.
What will you do?
Press:
- Track local media landscape for print, online and social media, including the gathering of media kits.
- Assist paid media projects with styling and publications follow-up.
- Seek high-level placements in print, broadcast and online.
- Pitch stories and brand narratives to media (new angles and innovative PR opportunities).
- Translation and creation of press releases.
- Ensure initiatives taking place in Madrid are locally relevant and executed effectively in accordance with global guidelines.
- Handle press clippings, PR Value, imagery, and price requests.
- Manage the constant flow of samples of the Madrid PR & Comms Showroom, with Launchmetrics.
- Elaborate weekly and monthly reports on all significant PR and communications activities, under the supervision of the PR & Comms Manager.
- Map and manage Key Opinion Leaders and Celebrities strategy: clipping, requests, logistics of showroom visits, product seeding and travels; build and maintain high impact profiles.
- Coordinate PR events in Madrid in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Strong social and professional network and guestlist management.
- Provide and share regular analysis on competitors' happenings.
- Boost local Brand Equity with specific focus on Brand Desirability.
- Focus on event's ROI's.
- Reinforcement of PR & Press value.
- Proven minimum 3-year successful experience as a PR & Comms professional in a relevant brand (Fashion Retail is a plus but other sectors will be considered) or a local PR & Comms Agency.
- Language: fluent in English and Spanish (excellent knowledge of the Spanish market).
- Understanding sneaker culture and streetwear labels landscape will be appreciated.
- Strong ability to communicate.
- Team spirit but with the ability to work autonomously.
- Accountable attitude with a taste for tidiness and accuracy.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues.
- Effective listening communications skills towards internal and external relationships.
- Be open-minded and agile.
