Role summary: Payroll, Specialist To contribute and be part of the team responsible for the support and execution of data management/customer services activities, ensuring that output is accurate and on time. Your responsibilities may be focused on customer services, and you will be flexible supporting payroll tasks as or when required. Delivery Key responsibilitiesSupport Managers with client engagement, ensuring all information is accurate and provided on timeSupport the Sales process to ensure scope of service is feasible and highlight any concerns immediately to the Senior Operations ManagerProvide support and guidance for all implementations and go lives, whilst ensuring automation and standards are utilizedLead projects designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performanceProvide daily functional support to the teams, to support the successful delivery of payrollsResponsible for the maintenance of the Country Solution workbookResponsible for the management of the legislation roadmap and ensuring the team are upskilled in upcoming changes and processes are updated where neededResponsible for the resolution of Technical/Functional issues escalated from the team and ensuring all system issues/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary details and evidence so Application Services and/or Products can investigateWorking with Operational Management, Transformation and Products to implement automation, innovation, and any continuous improvement programsResponsible for Year End to ensure deadlines are met successfullyProactively identify upsell opportunitiesSupport Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learntUpskill and develop team members through training delivery and coaching to enable them to fulfil their roleAlight Security Standards are adhered and followedAbility to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential informationTime Recording to be completed on time and accuratelyContribute to team meetings and raise any issues immediately to your Operations managerEnsure you are up to date with all Alight announcements and communicationsBuild good relationships with all lines of businessesParticipates in projects as needed and assignedProfessional /Job Experience• English is a must• Good understanding of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint• 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment• Knowledge of payroll processes, practices, and associated legislation • HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred Payroll certifications• Experience managing small-medium scale projects• Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment• Excellent written and verbal skills• Self-motivated and a willingness to learn• Academic Degree Education and Training• High School diploma or equivalentDesired but not required:• Experience in customer service or working with HR and payroll dataWhat we offer:Remote workPermanent contract (full-time)Sophisticated career development initiativesTransparent reward and recognition schemesInnovative industry leading companyAlight offers you a unique chance to build a career in a vibrant, agile and growing organization, yet one with truly global client relationships and a wide range of opportunities.
