Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Close engagement with EMEA MRO Category Manager & Plant Buyers to identify and execute savings opportunities for the category
• Ensure the sourcing strategies defined by the Category Managers at EMEA/Global level are implemented and executed at the plant level and corresponding agreements are put in place
• Actively align and execute category strategy (including suppliers’ selection, negotiation, risk & opportunities assessments) and the relationship with suppliers managed
• Generate, develop and manage projects aimed at reducing the Total Cost of Ownership, and ensure the necessary buy-in of cross-functional teams to implement the projects
• Ensure compliance with the general purchasing processes within Baxter group
• Design RFP Request for Proposal, contracts and non-disclosure agreements for suppliers managed at local level
• Report internally on Procurement KPI’s : savings, cost avoidances, sourcing projects pipeline, etc.  
• Supplier management: measure and analyze the supplier service level (KPIs)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or Engineering 
• 3–5-year experience in procurement and supply chain preferably within a highly regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical experience is an asset)
• Experience in project management, sourcing and cost analysis processes.
• Motivated, flexible, analytical and target oriented
• Assertiveness and a persevering personality, together with an ability to be diplomatic, challenging and persuasive
• Ability to work in a changing, multi-cultural and matrix environment
