Job Description
With the Media Planning Director, you'll be leading the creation, direction and ongoing development of your client planning, injecting innovation into all media solutions and achieving commercial return for your clients. You will be responsible for planning, negotiating and executing media plans. The ideal candidate must be able to manage day-to-day planning and analysis while maintaining strong relationships with publishers and partner agencies.
How you'd spend your day:
- Holding a global vision of every campaign (TV, Press, Magazines, Radio, External and Cinema and sometimes Digital media as well, associated to your team).
- Consolidating the completed activity in every media of the assigned clients.
- Taking part of the strategies of the assigned accounts with tactical detail.
- Collaborating with the definition of KPI's of control (negotiation and media).
- Guaranteeing the thorough control and achievement of the specific goals of your team.
- Optimally applying the strategic and negotiation lines in the development of every campaign of your team.
- Supervising the plans generated by your team.
- Controlling your team's global budget.
- Planning weekly the team tasks, making any needed changes in order to balance the workload.
- Establishing priorities and the sequence of actions to carry out.
- Coordinating and supervising the team.
- Supervising the implementation of the job process of Publicis Groupe.
- Continuously suggesting improvements in the job systems, always looking for the maximum efficiency and quality.
- Managing the team's training.
- Having a good command and knowledge of the company's tools.
- Managing weekly status of intern reporting.
- Being in touch with media.
Qualifications
University degree related to Marketing, Advertising or Economics, or around at least 4 years of experience in marketing. Good knowledge on planning tools. Analytical skills. Meticulous and rigorous. Leadership and people management. Steadfastly pushes self and others for results. Open to new ideas and change. Someone who is able to manage day-to-day planning and analysis while maintaining strong relationships with publishers and partner agencies.
