Job Description
Ideally based at our offices in Madrid or supporting remotely from Westville, South Africa, we’re looking for an IT Project Coordinator. You’ll join our cloud service team to lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects or IT work stream business projects
Our cloud teams utilise AMS and Azure to deliver service across the business and you’ll manage projects from inception through to delivery. These projects will range from server upgrades and software upgrades to physical office moves.
You’ll need some technical knowledge given the projects and we’d like for you to have multi-domain technical experience in at least two of the following:
- Data centre, hosting platforms, messaging/collaboration, client services, voice & data networks, application technology services, or IT service management.
With these skill sets you can monitor and deliver on defined projects and hand it over to the business-as-usual support. Project Management skill will also be needed as you’ll take responsibility from start to finish of short- and medium-term projects, providing leadership and taking necessary actions. You’ll help develop project scope and objectives whilst working alongside all of the stakeholders involved.
Your stakeholders will be key –you’ll need to be able to implements a communications strategy, act upon feedback and deal with any problems arising throughout the projects, so close partnerships will be important.
What you’ll need;
- Ability to build appropriate and effective business relationships.
- Significant previous experience in within an IT focused role.
- 2+ years’ experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
- Ideally have a PRINCE2 qualification or demonstrable project experience
