Head Intelligence & Performance Management, Procurement External Manufacturing About the job Your Mission: Join Sanofi CHC team for an Head Intelligence & Performance Management, Procurement External Manufacturing role! You will be accountable for the delivery of Business Continuity with outstanding Value Creation through collecting and assessing the current state-of-the-art market intelligence on C(D)MOs and deliver market intelligence tools allowing to identify the most competitive CMOs in the landscape. You will have to do in-depth analysis of the CHC pipeline early identification of potential savings, cost avoidance or substitution. You will work closely internally with the business, finance, supply chain, procurement, etc and with our external stakeholders and suppliers. We have recently announced an exciting 18-24 month journey to create a fully standalone CHC business (separating the Business Unit from our Pharma company heritage, processes etc), as we target to create the best FAST MOVING CONSUMER HEALTH company, which will require us to retain, attract and grow the best leaders in our industry. Main responsibilities: Contribute to the transformation of the Procurement CHC EM organization to an integral E2E organization to secure a diverse, agile and powerful C(D)MO panel aligned with the CHC growth, innovation and COGS objectives on External Manufacturing Build a network of internal partners to drive and coordinate value creation Establish EM market intelligence process on CMOs, CDMOs and licenses partners focusing on cores expertise, global presence, innovation footprint, capacities, financial health, competitor landscape, benchmarking and competitiveness Analyse in-depth the CHC pipeline and portfolio to prepare the recommendation and decision matrix for simplification, switches and transfers for categories, innovation and technologies/devices and sourcing strategies Establish EM market intelligence process on CMOs, CDMOs and licenses partners focusing on cores expertise, global presence, innovation footprint, capacities, financial health, competitor landscape, benchmarking and competitiveness Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) lever analysis, assessing potential improvements against all relevant levers Develop and steer a sound Improvement pipeline to boost competitivity incl. TCO and savings (PPV, Substitution, Cash-flow, etc. ), GM/COGS improvement etc. Contribute to develop tailored clean sheets and assess key value creation levers for Top products (= estimation of production costs incurred by the CMO for a given product based on database info) to identify short-and long-term savings potential Support building of negotiations strategies, informed by supply market & supplier analysis Prepare business cases Contribute to develop robust fact packs on industry and suppliers, draft negotiation strategy, targets and tactics to prepare for negotiations Drive the annual StratPlan and Budget process aligned with all stakeholders Arbitrate performance initiatives to ensure efficient investment of resources Conduct TCO and savings program analysis to assess robustness of pipeline and define CAPA measures Act as a focal point for Procurement Excellence for EM perimeter: Support the establishment and improvement of budgeting/reporting tools About you 5+ years of experience in a Management or Transversal role with proven record in term of change management and result delivery - plus experience in Consumer Health Care or FMCG Experience in implementing Procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, etc. ) including design & deployment is a benefit Experience in market intelligence, BD and M&A preferred Sound competencies in financial tools (Sievo, SAP, Office) as well as Excell and PowerPoint Solid understanding of both Procurement and Operations; a combination of functional experiences in both Manufacturing and SCM as well as Procurement would be ideal Solid understanding in Cost management, budgeting and controlling - ability to understand and explain an Industrial P&L to pilot financial performance Solid track record of financial achievements including people management experience. Highly effective communication & leadership skills to engage / motivate / lead teams Strong presentation and communication skills Strong capability to manage business and interact with executive level: internal stakeholders, Suppliers and complex environment Travel is mandatory in this role (up to 30 %) Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business or another relevant field. An MBA is preferred Fluency in spoken and written business Dutch (required) Fluency in spoken and written French or any other language is a plus Pursue progress, discover extraordinary Better is out there.
