JOB DESCRIPTION Member of SC Planning Service Line Job Title: Digital Functional Expert - SC Planning Scope: Worldwide, all Business Units Supervisor: Functional Expertise Manager - Spain Sanofi Supply Chain Transformation Sanofi has been engaging since several years into a transformation program of Digital Supply Chain processes, and related information system, including distribution, customer service, articulation with manufacturing systems, and planning systems. Under the main transformation program SCCORE, major stream is Supply Chain Planning, and includes the implementation of Kinaxis planning system covering forecasting, DRP, multi-sites planning, CMO collaboration & S&OP, as a core model and progressively implemented worldwide and each Global Business Unit. Program is currently in roll-out acceleration phase. SCCORE is taking place in parallel and supporting other company programs such as i-SHIFT program (integrated ERP for Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance). JOB PURPOSE The position to be covered will contribute the Digital Supply Chain Planning extended team whose main stakes are : Mission: Deliver valuable, robust, innovative, ready & easy to deploy, solutions & services to enable and promote Global Supply Chain Business Strategy and Digital Industrial Harmonization stakes Ambition: Reach credibility and reputation as CoE that provides leadership, best practices, innovation and training in the Supply Chain Planning domain across the Sanofi network Key Activities: Define Digital strategy aligned with Business, deliver Global Core Model Solutions and support Deploy & Run, manage application portfolio, develop people & skills for Digital and Business evolutions In the context of the Supply Chain transformation the candidate will be working in SCCore program, on the continuous improvement of the service and on the support for design, process harmonization and service maintenance for any program related to the Planning service line. Being assigned to Supply Chain Planning extended team, the functional expert will focus activity on one or several of following streams : Suppliers and External Manufacturing collaboration, Multisite planning, Distribution Requirement Planning, Forecasting, Sales & Operation CONTEXT & CHALLENGES Particular challenge will be: Ensuring harmonization and standards in a core model logic Bringing Business added value to support business transformation Support activities to roll-out solution on new sites Management of multiple transitions situations Ensuring day-to-day operational excellence of the solution The role might require mobility to evolve in a worldwide context. This role will be part of a larger SCCORE program including Distribution system evolutions, external manufacturing and customer service systems improvement. It is highly articulated with Sanofi ERPs systems, including several legacy SAPs (5+ connected) and i-SHIFT as a target integrated S4/HANA solution. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The candidate's key accountabilities are: Be able to translate business needs in system requirements and estimates Manage project documentation at both functional and technical level Develop sustainable functional competencies to support the business (L3) Develop expertise in the technical solution configuration Support on the analysis, designs, build and challenge business needs Support detailed FIT/GAP analysis Ensure system stability by driving continuous improvement and issue fixing. Collaborate with the business teams, internal service organizations & external partners THE IDEAL Our ideal candidate has: EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Engineer degree with industrial culture APICS-CPIM / CSCP as advantageous Fluent in English PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 5+ year experience as functional analyst in supply chain planning domain 1+ full cycle project implementation in Production/Distribution Planning Kinaxis Rapid Response hands on experience as a major differentiator Experienced in meeting facilitation, agile methods, lean IS approach Good knowledge of application integration process points with execution systems (SAP APO, PP, PI, MM, SD, QM; E2Open Collaborative Inventory Management, Collaborative Order Management) MAJOR SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Analytics and logical thinking Proactivity Team spirit Accountability Facilitation skills Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines Adaptable, flexible, quick learner, team player and leader of cross functional teams Capable trainer, clear communicator.
