SAP S/4HANA Retail Solution ArchitectRole Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Retail Architect to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive retail solutions. This role involves shaping omnichannel capabilities, integrating enterprise systems, and ensuring robust architecture to support high-volume retail operations. Key Responsibilities - Develop and deploy end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions across sales, procurement, logistics, and returns management. - Expand existing online-channel architecture to support full omnichannel operations, including physical store processes. - Design integration frameworks between SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, and other enterprise platforms such as distributed order management, warehouse systems, demand planning tools, and POS solutions. - Define non-functional architecture standards focusing on scalability, performance, resilience, observability, and security. - Collaborate with compañía teams to translate functional needs into scalable technical designs. - Provide architectural leadership throughout all phases of project delivery: design, testing, rollout, and post-deployment support. - Ensure compliance with performance benchmarks, sustainability goals, and regulatory standards. - Guide project teams and promote best practices aligned with SAP clean core principles. Candidate Profile - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Bachelors or Masters). - At least 8 years of experience in IT consulting and architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in SAP S/4HANA Retail. - Deep knowledge of SAP modulas: SD (Sales Distribution), MM (Materials Management), LE (Logistics Execution), and ARM (Advanced Returns Management). - Hands-on experience with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), especially POSDTA, is highly desirable. - Strong grasp of retail operations, omnichannel strategies, and integration ecosystems. - Proficiency in API design (RESTful) and integration methodologies. - Experience working in international and cross-functional teams is a plus. - Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse interesadas. - Fluent in English (spoken and written) German language skills are a bonus.
